Rumors: “There are multiple libraries and laboratories in the castle.”

“The ancient incantation ‘pho gig’ will keep the lesser undead at bay.”

Offered food to ravens. They ate meat and flew away. Left shiny coins for them.

Destroyed all skeletons in stable sideroom.

Entered eastern rose garden door. Wandered halls. Discovered a mostly empty room.

Found a weapons armory with two doors, one of which contained loud banging, the other contained an unmoving rust monster. They spiked that door shut quickly and discussed why a rust monster might be in there and not move whilst not looking like a rotting corpse and not eating the metal door that enclosed it.

They decided to loot the armory to ensure they profited from this expedition.

Arms full, they met a red ghost that demanded a sacrifice of blood. Norg dropped his bundle and cut his palm. The ghost said “Hugo counts you as a friend.”

On the next hauling trip, a gang of headless servants questioned the party suspiciously but immediately obeyed when chastised.

During their final haul, they encountered human-like figures clothed in black, even covering their heads. They moved toward the party’s haul and the party backed off. The figures carried it out and set it down with the rest.

4 chain mail is still left in armory. 75gp each. They weigh 30lbs each.

The part is planning to purchase a mule and cart.

Incredibly good reaction rolls some of the time and good interaction some of the time made all the wandering monsters completely toothless. That’s fun for a change, but these players have seen no real danger yet and I hope they don’t think they’re protected.

There’s a plan to bring a mule and cart and groom. Check carry capacity and number of mules required vs horses etc.

The town has enough arms to grow its defense or for a little bandit group.
